I walked past the enormous Christmas tree upstairs to the Aquarium of the Bay. They had kindly given us a room to place our stuff down and practice before going on stage. Odwalla also brought bins of food for us to eat! I was pretty confident in the songs we were about to sing. Well, all but one.
When the time finally came for us to be on stage, we scrambled to find our spots and fix each other's hair. It was a short walk to the tree and there was a small crowd gathered in front of it. Our main goal was to make the people walking into the stores stop to turn around and listen to us, and we succeeded! Our tiny crowd of parents soon grew to a decent sized crowd of interested listeners. The sunny day and easy breeze also aided in the peoples' wishes to stay outside.
